Cabo San Lucas (commonly referred to as Cabo) is a city at the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. It was attacked by the Kaiju Kaiceph on June 1, 2014.
The military attempted to lure the creature away from the city, but failed. They were forced to attack the kaiju Kaiceph with a nuclear strike that killed it at the expense of half the city's inhabitable areas. Its remains were removed from the city and transported on the aircraft carrier John C. Stennis.
