Horizon Brave (勇敢的地平線 Brave Horizon[note 1]) is a Mark-1 Chinese Jaeger, launched December 22, 2015.

History

As a Mark-1 series Jaeger, Horizon Brave is among the first Jaegers constructed on Kodiak Island, Alaska when the Jaeger Program is greenlit by the Pan Pacific Defense Corps.[4] Horizon Brave is deployed in combat alongside Romeo BlueTacit Ronin, and Coyote Tango.

In 2019, Horizon Brave accompanies Gipsy Danger and Lucky Seven to Manila to stop a Category IV Kaiju.[5] Horizon holds its own against the Kaiju for a time before suffering critical damage from its barbed tail, requiring the assistance of Lucky Seven and Gipsy Danger, who kill the Kaiju.[5] Horizon Brave had a record of two Kaiju kills before its destruction in battle in Lima, Peru.[1][6][7]

Features

Horizon Brave is armed with shoulder-mounted cryo cannons, used to freeze Kaiju in battle or power its melee attacks. "Sub-zero suckerpunch" and  "Flash freeze" are two of its signature attacks. Like all Mark-1 Jaegers, Horizon Brave is powered by a nuclear reactor.
