John Paesano is a television composer best known for his work for Marvel Studios properties, Daredevil and The Defenders. He was the composer of Steven S. DeKnight's Pacific Rim: Uprising prior to being replaced by Lorne Balfe.[1]


Paesano is better known for his work in television, primarily the first two seasons of Daredevil, and the eight-episode series The Defenders. With regard to film, he ha has scored the film adaptations of the young adult novel series, The Maze Runner, The Maze Runner, and The Scorch Trails. He won a Annie Award for Dragons: Riders of Berk.[2] He made his video game debut with the score for Bioware's Mass Effect Andromeda.
