Pacific Rim: Uprising[]
- In Pacific Rim, the Kaiju that attack the Earth come in three waves. The final and third wave in 2025 was designed to wipe out humanity. In an interview with John Boyega for Pacific Rim: Uprising, he refers to all three waves as a “test run”.[note 1][1]
Pacific Rim: The Black[]
- In Pacific Rim: The Black, the Kaiju known as Acidquill was categorized as a Category III Kaiju, while in the prequel graphic novel Pacific Rim: Blackout, Acidquill was instead described as a Category IV Kaiju.
