People generally don't sit in the theatre any longer than they have to. And, while Pacific Rim was a great movie, it was also extremely dumb (not necessarily an insult in the world of movies; it's just not The Matrix). Would it be possible to credit Hannibal's extensive knowledge of Kaiju physioligy to underground and or black market connections? i.e his people have reached and scavenged the Kaiju's bodies before most official scientists can thus giving them more of the body to experiment and learn from, or can we not because its speculation?
