The vast majority of the Jaegers on the list can likely be crossed off on the basis of being chainsword bait. Striker Eureka, Gipsy Danger, Gipsy Avenger, or Saber Athena could easily dispatch them. Now, chances are, those ones will realize that their best chance is focusing on those ones, but it seems unlikely they can do that to all of those ones successfully.
Titan Redeemer's leg was taken out by drone missiles, so it probably isn't that tough either. Worse yet, its morningstar is far too sluggish to deal with multiple foes. In fact, the drone attack is a great example of what would happen in this situation.
On the subject of that EMP grenade, there's a big question to be answered: does Titan Redeemer end up using it? One might think it an obvious "yes", but it is not so simple as that. Yes, it is true that once it deploys that, some heavy hitters are out of the fight (Striker Eureka and Crimson Typhoon, at the very least, and possibly more). But it's likely that in a world where Jaegers fight each other, most Jaegers not built in a scrapyard are probably built to resist EMP, if only to prevent the tactic from being used against them. The thing is, though, the earlier the heavy hitters go down, the more likely it is that Titan Redeemer gets mobbed. So, Titan Redeemer actually wants Striker Eureka and Crimson Typhoon to last a while, so they can take out more of the fodder (only in the context of this could the likes of Coyote Tango and Tacit Ronin possibly be considered fodder). After all, Titan Redeemer can take them out at any time, so why not let them do Titan's dirty work in the meantime? Except, if it waits too long, the list of targets gets small and it gets attacked, potentially being destroyed without getting to use the EMP grenade at all. The question of whether that last part happens is extremely important.
I wouldn't expect Cherno to do well here, simply because it isn't quick enough. It'd be Leatherback and Otachi double-teaming it all over again.
We don't know that much about Valor Omega and November Ajax. The former seems to just be a Jaeger with cannons (yep, those are totally going to be more powerful than Gipsy Avenger's plasma cannon that can make a rogue Jaeger fly...), and the latter doesn't demonstrate anything beyond a taser. But the thing about that taser is, if it was powerful enough to be able to subdue full-size Jaegers and Kaiju consistently, we would probably see every Jaeger armed with that (since the primary threat in the post-war world seems to be rogue Jaegers). It therefore seems likely that November Ajax is designed more for dealing with smaller (though not necessarily Scrapper-sized) or poorly-made rogue Jaegers.
Ironically, Crimson Typhoon might last longer than Gipsy Danger despite being just as fragile, because it isn't nearly as threatening and would therefore likely not get dog-piled.
Saber Athena actually has an interesting game plan in that depending on where she starts, she might be able to run away. I don't actually know if her particle charger is a ranged weapon, but even if it isn't, simply being able to stay away from the fight for a while massively increases her chances.
Guardian Bravo...hard to say. I kind of think of it as the Jaeger equivalent of Scunner (doesn't do much of note, doesn't seem to actually be that good at its specialty, and gets upstaged by its allies). How do whips do against multiple opponents? Then again, this could all be to its advantage, since it might not get targeted early on.
Bracer Phoenix brings up an interesting question; are we counting mid-movie upgrades? I suppose in the case of this Jaeger it doesn't matter all that much, given the morningstar's limited utility here. The vortex cannon, however, looks like it could be extremely useful here. Sucker-punching from behind would be one of the dominant strategies in a scenario like this, and the vortex cannons shut that down hard. The main weaknesses I see for Bracer Phoenix are the question of what happens if it ends up in a fight with something whose ranged weapons do more damage (Gipsy Danger, Striker Eureka, Gipsy Avenger, Obsidian Fury), or if something with extreme melee power gets close (the aforementioned four again, plus Saber Athena). Overall, I would expect Bracer Phoenix to get near the end (since it will almost certainly not get ganked by Mk Is), but can't expect to solo Gipsy Avenger or Obsidian Fury.
The Drone can basically be treated like one of the Mk Is, in that it is too weak to really win on its own merits, and would be participating in ganks.
Striker Eureka has a good thing going, in that it can easily solo most Jaegers and deal with mobs of them, yet isn't one of the top three targets and isn't as vulnerable as Gipsy Danger. But if that EMP grenade goes off, it's curtains.
Now we get to Gipsy Avenger, Oh, boy. Well, it's got a lot of good stuff going for it here. In many ways, it combines the best aspects of Gipsy Danger (incredible arsenal) and Striker Eureka (physical prowess). This Gipsy is probably the toughest Jaeger yet built, and (with or without its upgrade) can cut down mobs. Its plasma cannon puts Titan Redeemer's morningstar to shame thanks to its much higher attack rate (making it actually useful against multiple opponents). And if it gets surrounded, it can use its jets to jump out of it. In true Gipsy fashion, it's got an answer to just about everything. Short of literally every weak opponent on the field attacking it at once or one of its few rivals (Obsidian Fury) focusing on it to open it up for a sucker punch (which would be a poor strategy, since the focuser would also be opening themselves up for a sucker punch), it would likely make it to near the end.
Obsidian Fury is also likely to do very well. Physically speaking, it can hang with Gipsy Avenger (though it seems to be a bit less durable, judging from the results of the blade hits they traded in the movie). It also has great ranged capabilities and can cut down mobs with ease.
Hmm...so much to think about. I'll have to run through some scenarios in another post.
