What kaiju do you think would stand its ground the longest, my vote goes for scunner.

I was actually going to mention knifehead, but I realized that the comment was getting to long, as for Scunner, he obviously was not happy with the situation, or even neutral, but he certainly took a long time to show severe pain. Anyways, don't over react, nobody likes to be wrong. But, you should read a blog I made called (somewhat predictably)"which kaiju would last the longest against Slattern?" hopefully that link works.
EDIT BY GLITCH: I fixed your link
<sigh> dang.

But, back to the original topic, there are many things to consider.
If you count running away and living longer that way, if the battle is on land, otachi could live the longest, and this is probably the longest any kaiju would last, if it takes place in water, raiju could easily last the longest, but, of course, it's only a matter of time until Slattern would catch up, and rip raiju apart.
If your like me, and count whoever lives the longest in a head to head confrontation, the first to come to mind is leatherback, as it has the highest armor stats besides Slattern, and its ARM survived over half a dozen point blank shots before falling off. Although, as we all should know, Slattern's arms have survived worse, and where still on and functional after words, which, says that there may a better candidate.
Next I'll try Scunner. He's (does anyone mind if I just refer to the kaiju with an unknown gender as a he, just to make it easier for me) no good, he died from the nuke that didn't even disable slattern's arms.
Actually, no kaiju would really last any real length against Slattern, but it would either be otachi or leatherback, depending on your viewpoint.
sorry. I meant it exactly as it sounded. Sorry though. I turn into an asshole sometimes /shrugs
Nuclearshroom, I read your blog about the topic, and you stated that Slattern's chest woul be thicker than his shoulders, and I have some supporting information to confirm that. Slattern is show to have a large, extendable spike-like protrusion that covers his chest entirely, and is hard enough to penetrate Jeager armour. This would renforce his chest and upper torso signifigantly. The chest would be much harder to penetrate, and you may be right that Knifehead simply couldn't breach Slattern's chest to puncture his lungs/heart, or hatever vital alien organs are contained within.

Thanks. Anyways, I don't think the spike covered Slattern's whole chest, although it did cover a significant portion. What I meant was that most animals have large amounts of protection around their vital organs, which often times takes the form of a rib cage, which is why I mentioned it, and the chest just has more meat to go through, and, humans atleast, tend to have thicker skin on the chest.

I looked into this for a while, and this is what I measured. Height (bipedal) 596ft Height (quadrupedal) 350-375ft Length 1100-1200ft. I know I'm double commenting, but it's been a few weeks since my last post.
Hi, sorry it's been so long. I won't come up with an excuse, I was just not here. period. Nice measurements, I'm inclined to agree with you, simply because you seem to know more than I do about it, and because it makes sense.
I did write this on your wall, but commenting here as opposed to there really makes no difference. Although, after looking at another scene, he may reach 400ft quadrupedal, perhaps a bit more.

Assuming that it can injure Slattern so easily (which I am doubtful of; it took a nuke that killed Scunner and laughed), it would have to make it through Slattern's claws and tails to do so.
Let's keep something in mind about Slattern: 10+ does not mean 11. It means higher than 10, and we have no idea how much. The first time he attacked, he dominated Striker Eureka (9 armor? Just about worthless against it).
And his armor? Well, let's see here. Scunner's armor was 8 (same as Crimson Typhoon). From Cherno Alpha we know that Armor 10 isn't that big of a deal. Scunner was killed by Striker's nuke. Slattern took some cosmetic damage, but his arms were still attached.
The same arms that Striker had tried to cut off.
The connection between Slattern's half-severed arms and his shoulders was tougher than Scunner's entire body.
Normally, statlines aren't that big of a deal. But Slattern's stats (whatever they are) are apparently so absurdly high that it does matter.
But there still was damage against slattern's arms
